Please take the opportunity to review our Privacy Policy that follows:

At FirstCanadiansProtection.com we recognize that our members are concerned about the privacy of the information that we collect from our members and our plans for using this information. First Canadians Protection.com collects personally identifiable information (name, e-mail address, etc.) and/or demographic data (city, postal code, zip code, school and company names, interests, etc.) that you submit when you do the following:

1) Register for our courses
2) Register for our guard services
3) Complete a survey; or
3) Send us an e-mail.
4) Communicate with us by other methods such as telephone, chat, video conferencing or other communication tools or third-party software.

We may use this information to process and maintain your account, compile demographic statistics about our users, and display to you information and advertisements that match your interests and profile. We will never sell your personal information to any company for any reason.

1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

When you register as an instructor/administrator/manager/student, we ask for your name, e-mail address and other profile information. When instructor/administrator/managers register a student, we ask for their student’s name, e-mail address, and other profile information. We may request additional profile information for optional online surveys and identification verification.

When you register as a student, or when a instructor/administrator/manager adds a student, we ask for credit card and billing information. That information remains secure and inaccessible to FirstCanadiansProtection.com. For that reason, when you change your plan type or add a new student, credit card information must be resubmitted, unless alternative arrangements are made with your specific organization. Credit card information can be submitted online during online registration. Alternatively, credit card information can be provided to a First Canadians Protection representative when registering by fax or phone at a valid listed number in the contact us page. It is a good practice and makes good sense
to know the valid First Canadians Protection phone numbers, and to hang-up and call-in us to ensure that you are speaking with a legitimate representative. Don’t worry about bothering us in that respect … we’ll be happy to oblige in effort to assure you and us that the credit card information entered into the system on behalf of the client is secured and made inaccessible.

In the course of using our website, we log certain information, including your IP address, the browser you are using, and the previous URL you were visiting. First Canadians Protection.com uses IP addresses (random numbers assigned to individual computers) to help administer our website and anonymously track content preferences and traffic patterns. We also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website.

We use cookies (small text files transferred from our website to your hard drive) to recognize repeat users, track usage behaviour, and facilitate your access to and use of our site. Cookies do not damage files or allow anyone to access your personally identifiable information—they simply allow us to tailor information and advertisements to make your visits more enjoyable and meaningful.

If you send us correspondence, such as e-mails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities on the website, we may store such information so that we can serve you better.

2. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use profile information to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, review website usage, and improve our website's content, offerings, and layout.

We may use profile information for market research purposes and to generate aggregate reports on students' interests and behaviours. We will not identify specific individuals in reports.

(For example, an agent of FirstCanadiansProtection.com may contact you to ensure you are satisfied with the service or to update your account.)

In the absence of a special relationship, we do not pass on your profile information to any third party. Certain information, such as your password or credit card number, is not disclosed.

We may disclose user information in special cases, for example, when we have reason to believe it is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interfering with (either intentionally or unintentionally) First Canadians Protection rights or property, other First Canadians Protection users, or anyone who could be harmed by such activities. We may disclose user information when we believe, in good faith, that the law requires it.
